ASPARAGUS IS ON SALE! $5.99/LB
Roasting asparagus is super easy and quick! Simply toss your prepared asparagus with a light drizzle of olive oil, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. I like to do this on a large, rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy clean-up.

Bake until the asparagus is easily pierced through by a fork, which will vary depending on the thickness of your asparagus. Pencil-thin asparagus, will be done in as little as 10 minutes. Thicker asparagus will need between 15 to 20 minutes

The Coop is celebrating Point Arena's Almost Fringe Festival by offering four local Mendocino County wines for festival-goers to sample. Mendocino County has a long and rich history of wine-making, from the introduction of Zinfandel by Italian farmers on the Mendocino Ridge in the early 1800s to the production today of outstanding Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays in the Anderson Valley. Mendocino’s Frey Vineyards was the first organic winery in the US and the County’s vineyards include both small and large producers of award-winning, highly rated wines made from a wide range of grape varieties. (Try our Powicana Farm’s 100% Petite Sirah.)
