I want to give a big shout out to everyone who came out for Member Appreciation Day on the first Friday of October! It was the first in what we hope will be many Member Appreciation Day events. For those who missed it, Wendy made her famous Golden Milk latte and Rosario put together some of our favorite bulk items to sample, George Carlo & Tim Mueller provided live music, and we had an Asian pear giveaway thanks to friends of the co-op Booka & Edythe Michel who donated over 100 lbs of delicious locally grown pears from the Bobcat Ranch. It was heartening to see everyone come together to help celebrate our members and 14 years of the co-op defying the odds and keeping our doors open. Here’s to 14 more years and 168 more Member Appreciation events!
This first Friday, November 3, we’ll be sampling Planet Oat Milk (Vanilla Unsweetened & Chocolate), Fig & Grapefruit goat cheese, local apples, and more! We’ll also have a Sugar Pie Pumpkin giveaway!
