The new season is right around the corner and with it come some changes, big and small. Local artist Teresa Santana will be hanging her recent pieces later this month. We just updated our menu board to include some new offerings and give the cafe a fresh look.
Sadly, we are preparing to say goodbye to longtime employee Fransisco Cabrera. While we are deeply sorry to see Francisco go, we are also very excited for him and his upcoming world travels! Although his departure will leave a void, it comes at a time when we have been blessed with a truly wonderful and committed staff – one of the best staffs I’ve had the pleasure of working with! From Kimberly, our cafe coordinator, finding creative ways for us to engage the community; to Wendy, barista extraordinaire, helping develop specialty drink offerings for the cafe; to Rufus, bringing his love of cooking to our kitchen; to Mel who is an absolute joy to work with; to Martin keeping the positive vibes flowing; and to Rosario who always takes great care to ensure things are done right and brings as much professionalism to the job as she does warmth – just to name a few members of our amazing crew. I’m looking forward to continuing the work we do with this fantastic team.
